The line patterns of South Korea’s and Stuttgart, Germany’s marriage registration forms have been engraved on A4-sized steel sheets. Confronted with the contradictory situation where same-sex marriage is impossible in Korea but permitted in Germany, the artist personally questions what—or which identity—is legally recognized or denied by the state.
